During the 2013-2014 season, the University of Pittsburgh basketball team had a roster that included players such as Lamar Patterson, Talib Zanna, and James Robinson. Head coach Jamie Dixon led the team to a 26-10 record and a trip to the NCAA Tournament. The team ultimately lost in the first round of the tournament to Wichita State. Despite the early exit from the tournament, the 2013-2014 Pitt basketball team was competitive and featured several talented players who went on to have successful professional careers.
